Cotton yarn stable, polyester slightly weak

In the cotton yarn markets, prices were largely unchanged on Tuesday with smooth sales reported for 32s and 40s yarn amid decent demand, while inquiries for other specs were mute for the day. However, the markets saw shrinking spot trades, with prices likely to fluctuate amid sidelined stance.

Polyester yarn market in Shengze was stable to slightly weak on the day, and offers for few varieties were lowered somewhat. Offers for spun polyester yarn 32s and 45s were at 11,700 yuan/ton and 12,700 yuan/ton respectively, with the latter seeing better sales.
