Cotton yarn market extends stability in China
Cotton yarn markets extended the stable movements in China today, seeing prices largely unchanged from yesterday. Sales for 21s and 32s yarn were smooth in decent demand, while inquiries for other specs were mute for the day.
In Xiaoshan/Shaoxing, mainstream prices for 32s yarn were at 23.00-24.00 Yuan a kg. Of late, buying interest was diminishing with buyers holding back to sidelines, and a few spinning mills had to provide large discounts to push sales. Meanwhile in Shandong, offers for 60/40 21s yarn were at around 19.00 Yuan a kg.
